Gocator 3D snapshot Sensors
3D Online Inspection Sensors By LMI
For Quality Inspection and Robotic Applications
For high-precision area scanning and inspection, Gocator 3D snapshot sensors combine blue-led structured light with built-in 3D measuring tools. Snapshot sensors employ a single snapshot scan to evaluate stationary items or subjects with start/stop motion, as opposed to lasers, which scan moving objects.

Features (Metrology grade. Inline ready)
Easy-robot integration
(For carrying out pick and place applications)
Snapshot sensors are ideal for inline inspections where objects are temporarily immobile, such as robotic inspection and pick and place. They reduce the cost of expensive motion system components as well as vibration related errors.
Build-in hardware acceleration
(For faster data processing)
Every Gocator high-resolution structured light 3D snapshot sensor includes next-generation dual-core contollers, which dramatically boost onboard processing speed to match inline production speed.
Stereo Camera technology
(For minimizing occlusions)
Stereo cameras see more data, resulting in fewer occlusions. Any occlusion produced by surface geometry that blocks projected lights or the camera’s view will result in no data with a single camera. Stereo cameras, on the other hand, acquire additional data by capturing three images of the parts.
Industrial design
(For high reliability)
These sensors are perfect for fitting into tight spaces and installing on robots because of their rugged housing, small form factor, and light weight. Gocator snapshot sensors have an IP67-rated construction and an industrial projector with a 10-year continuous operation lifetime.
